Pea the First now has some companions although they have a little catching up to do. For some reason the first lot of peas I put in did not germinate apart from Pea the First. These are the second batch which only have four no-shows.
Pea the First is making the most of his two week head start and has now made friends with a couple of tomato plants.
If these frosts ever stop they will be leaving the comfort and safety of my bedroom window for temporary accommodation in the greenhouse. At this rate it may well be 2020 before they make it into the ground!
