Under glass

Now that I have one I'm not sure how I managed without a greenhouse. Within a couple of weeks it has filled up with bedding plants, vegetable seedlings, shelves, a potting bench and assorted watering cans.

I have reclaimed my downstairs toilet (which was acting as temporary growing space as it is light, warm and cat free!) and my window ledges are no longer full of seedling trays.

As a result of that I'm finding that I spend more time at the bottom of the garden, planting on, watering and potting. Being in the greenhouse is like stepping into a separate world - hot, peaceful and amazingly tranquil.

I couldn't recommend a better kind of stress therapy.
